Nensi Bogdani is an Albanian documentary photographer and photojournalist, born in Tirana in 1990.
With a BA+Master in Psychology and later studies in Photography at Leica Academy in Greece, Nensi mingles her sensitivity for social issues with her passion for visuals.
Her photographic themes deal with social exclusion, abandonment, and disappearing religious and pagan rituals. Through her photographs, she also tries to explore the boundaries between fiction and reality.
Currently she works as a visual journalist for BIRN network in Albania and as a contributor for Balkan Insight media.
Simultaneously she engages in personal documentary photo projects, which have won several photo awards by Europe House Tirana, ActionAid Hellas in Greece, PX3 Photography Competition in Paris, and have been shortlisted for Photometria Ioannina and Athens International Photo Festival.
